Andrew Tarantola is a technology reporter with over 12 years experience.
I’ve covered a diverse range of topics, from AI and machine learning to space, medical technology, renewable energy, and electric vehicles — all the tech that’s changing the world but doesn’t fit in your hip pocket.
I most recently worked at Engadget as a Senior Reporter - AI. Before that, I was a Senior Reporter at Gizmodo with a focus on space, science, and medicine. Before that, I managed the front offices of some of San Francisco’s finest auto garages and probably catered a wedding or two that you attended in the early aughts.
I’m a graduate of the University of California, Irvine (ZOT! ZOT! ZOT!) and hold a BA from the School of Social Sciences with a double major in Economics and Political Science. I’m also an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church so if you need to get hitched, I can help!
